Itinerary:
When you arrive in Huaraz, our staff will be waiting for you at the bus terminal to transfer you to the hotel, booked by us. After that you will be presented to "Enrique Expedition Tours" and your trekking guide will inform you about the last details of our expedition of the trekking Cedros Alpamayo – Santa Cruz in the Cordillera Blanca, Peru.

1st day.- Huaraz (3100 m) – Hualcayan (3139 m) – Huiscash (4400 m).
After breakfast at 6:30 a.m. we will depart from Huaraz by private bus to Hualcayán. In this place our donkey drivers and their donkeys will be waiting for us to transport our trekking gear. From there we will hike til our first camp in Huiscash. On the way we will see the mountains of Milhuacocha and Rajucocha.
(Elevation Change: +1261m; Duration: approx. 5 hours).

2nd day.- Huiscash (4400 m) – Osoruri (4850 m).
We will leave Huiscash at 8:00 a.m. towards Osoruri. On our trek we will pass by lake Cullicocha (4600 m) and cross our first pass of Cullicocha (4850 m), where we can observe the mountains Santa Cruz and Millhuacocha.
(Elevation Change: +450m; Duration: approx. 6-7 hours).

3rd day.- Osoruri (4850 m) – Jancarurish (4250 m).
This day we will hike up the second pass of Cedars (4750 m) and cross the valley of Cedros and Alpamayo. On our trek we will get to see archaeological remains in circular forms and agricultural terraces, belonging to the Recuay culture, as well as observe mountains like Millhuacocha, Pilanco and Pumapampa. We will continue our trek to Jancarurish, from where we will have a breathtaking view of the pyramidal shape of Mount Alpamayo (5947 m), which won the scenic beauty contest held in Munich, Germany in 1963. - It obtained the title “MOST BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN OF THE WORLD”.

4th day.- Jancarurish (4250 m) – Huillca (4000 m).   
After we will leave the Alpamayo valley and cross the pass of Cara Cara (4850 m), we will get to the Callejón de Conchucos (Alley of Conchucos), with a panoramic view of the mountains Tayapampa (5675 m), Pilanco (5300 m) and North Pucajirca (6046 m). While descending we will see the lakes of Safuna (4247
m) and continue the way through the valley Tayapampa to the camp of Huillca.
(Elevation Change: +950m; Duration: approx. 7-8 hours).

5th day.- Huillca (4000 m) – Jancapampa (3400 m).   
We will hike through the valley of Yanta Queñua and cross the fifth pass Yanajanca (4600 m), where we have a view of Mount Pucahircas before we will arrive at our camp Jancapampa.
(Elevation Change: +600m; Duration: approx. 6-7 hours).

6th day.- Jancapampa (3400 m) – Carhuacasha (3950 m).   
This day we will descend through the valley of Pingospampa and pass the sixth pass Tupa Tupa (4400 m) until we arrive at the campsite of Carhuacasha.
(Elevation Change: +1000m; Duration: approx. 6-7 hours).

7th day.- Carhuacasha (3950 m) – Tuctubamba (4300 m).   
Today we will enjoy the view of lake Huecracocha and glacier Taulliraju. We will cross the seventh Pucaraju pass (4650 m) with a panoramic view of the mountains of the Cordillera Blanca like Taulliraju, Chacraraju Pirámide de Garcilazo, Paria etc. From there we will hike downhill to reach our camp Tuctubamba (4300 m).
(Elevation Change: +700m; Duration: approx. 6-7 hours).

8th day.- Tuctubamba (4300 m) – Taullipampa (4250 m).   
Hiking up til the pass of Punta Union (4750 m) gives us a great view of the mountains Taulliraju, Pucajirca, Rinrijirca, Quitaraju, Santa Cruz, Artezonraju, Paria, Pucaraju, as well as the valleys of Santa Cruz and Morocoha. After a two hours descend we will arrive at the campsite in Taullipampa at 4250 m.

9th day.- Taullipampa (4250 m) – Quebrada Arhuaycocha (Mount Alpamayo) – Llamacorral (3760 m).   
At the ninth day we will have the aim to see Alpamayo from its east side. Afterwards we will descend to the valley of Santa Cruz, before we will pass by the lakes Jatuncocha (3900 m) and Ichiccocha (3850 m). About one hour later we will arrive at our campsite Llamacorral.
(Elevation Change: -490m; Duration: approx. 5-6 hours).

10th day.- Llamacorral (3760 m) – Cashapampa (2900 m).
This last day we descend along the valley Santa Cruz, next to a clean river, surrounded by vegetation and breathtaking mountains. After arriving in Cashapampa, we will be expected by the bus of "Enrique Expedition Tours", which drives us back to Huaraz and our hotel.
